This 3-day tour is designed for national and foreign tourists, who are already present in the country and wish to tour Southern Ecuador during a weekend.

 

Day 1(Friday) : Passengers will meet at Quito's airport (National Departure lounge) in order to catch a 4:30 pm flight to Loja Province.  The airport that serves the city of Loja is located in the town of Catamayo and the group will land at this airport at 5:30 pm. From the airport the group will depart to the city of Loja. After check-in at the hotel, passengers will dine and afterward will go on a city tour of Loja.

Day 2 (Saturday) : After breakfast passengers will go to the Cajanuma Entrance of the Podocarpus National Park. At Cajanuma the group will hike along the trails of the park in order to witness the beauty of the Andean cloud forest.  Lunch will be served at Cajanuma and afterwards, passengers will be taken to the world renowned Valley of Vilcabamba. By 3:00 pm passengers will reach Vilcabamba and then will go to the Rumi Wilco Eco-lodge, which is located only 10 minutes away from Vilcabamba's main plaza and inside the Rumi Wilco Nature Reserve. Passengers will dine at Vilcabamba and later on will return to Rumi Wiloc in order to enjoy a beautifull night full of stars in company of a bonfire.

Day 3 (Sunday) : In the morning the group will go to Vilcabamba in order to rent some bikes and engage in a biking tour of Vilcabamba and its surroundings. The group will visit farms and sugar cane processing stables and finally will hit the refreshing waters of the Chamba river.  After lunch passengers will relax at Rumi Wilco Eco-lodge until 4:00 pm, when they will be taken to Loja's airport.  At 5: 50 pm passengers will board a plane back to Quito and will land at this city at 6:40 pm.
